Host the Speaker Meeting 

District 12 Information and News

Join the fun at the District Business Meeting. Help the District achieve quorum. Share your thoughts and help serve the Al-Anon community. If your group doesn't have a GR, consider electing one to participate for your group at the district level.

Our next District Business Meeting will be March 10th at 870 Market Street on the 11th floor, in room 1185.  We'll start promptly at 7 pm.  All are welcome to attend, but only Group Reps are allowed to vote.

Participation is the key to harmony!

Information for Literature Orders

A step by step guide to ordering literature for your Al-Anon group.

If you don't have Excel, download the following form and follow the instructions below.

Download the 2009 Literature Order Form here!  

1. Download the 2009 literature order form from the link above or request one from the office if you don’t have internet access. (The San Francisco Al-Anon District 12 phone number is 415/834-9940.)

2. Fill out the upper left-hand portion of the form: your meeting, your name, your phone number and your email address.  

3. Fill out the quantity of each item that you want and total the price for each quantity.

4. Add up the total expense for each column on the form (A, B, C, D)

5. On the lower right corner of the front of the form, enter the total expense for each column (A, B, C, D).

6. Total all columns and enter in “From all columns.”

7. Figure sales tax (currently 9 1/2%) and enter the tax in the box that says “Add 9 1/2% sales tax.”

8. Add up the total literature expenditure and the sales tax and enter the total amount due in the box that says “Grand Total.”

9. If you need meeting lists, check the line that says “Check here for meeting lists,” located on the front of the form below the Grand Total.

10. Write out a check or money order to District 12 AFG and send it in with your order to the District office. Please write your group name, the word "literature" and please include a phone number if there are any questions (sometimes the check gets separated from the order form).

11. Your order can be picked up Monday through Friday 9AM-5PM.  Please remember to leave the key in the office when you’re finished.
